The surprisingly unlimited applications a good logo can possibly have, is always fun to see!
The first task was to make a logo. Now, I’m not a graphic designer, nor was it ever my best skill. Also a brief was never given. But these things didn’t really matter because somehow all of us knew what to make of it.
It had to resemble the school's logo and colors in a much 'grown-up' way, as if the symbol actually graduated and matured with the times like we did. And of course, be everything a timeless logo is expected to be: easy to recognise, simple to use, and relevant across decades.
It didn’t need too much to be honest. A few touches here and there, and the simple SC Club logo was born.
How the logo came to be.
And that’s where the journey started. Eventually this simple Ai / EPS file became a symbol of everything we stood for at the club for the past 3 years.
Here’s a few messy snapshots of how it was used over time, in no particular order, and collected across multiple sources.
Words and greetings used at different times.
Fabric applications.
At events, tournaments, celebrations and workshops.
Posts and wishes.
Home page and other tabs.
Profiles, magazines, business cards and much more.
Boxes, cups, cards, mugs, pens...you name it! Even cake.
Physical clubhouse interior and exterior.
But I guess that is where the pride and happiness of our work comes from. Will continue to watch its journey as a big fan.
